Gregory Hodges is a Blues Guitarist, Singer Songwriter born and raised in Spartanburg, SC. He grew up in a musical family and his father taught him to play guitar at age 9.
At 19, Hodges played with a bluegrass band the Plum Hollow Band, touring the college circuit for a few years. He then joined the late legendary Col. Bruce Hampton relocating to Pensacola, FL to tour the country with the Codetalkers. After a few solid years under the guidance of Col. Bruce, Hodges relocated to New Orleans where he performed with several of the greatest musicians and also recorded on 22 albums duuring his 7-year residency.
Hodges was the front man for his band Flannel Church who toured the country from Frenchmen St. to NYC where they recorded his original song "Stones Throw Away" for Relix Magazine. Hodges now lives in Los Angeles where he performs with the Gregory Hodges Band and various other artist around town.
